Duties / Responsibilites
- Assist with the set up/take down of traffic control in the street and construction zones.
- Learn, understand, and exhibit proper inspection equipment usage.
- Assist in supporting efforts of sewer maintenance and inspection tasks.
- Perform daily maintenance on company vehicles and equipment.
- Responsible for the safe/proper handling of all R&R Visual, Inc. owned, leased, and rented equipment and gear.
- Safely open and close manhole lids, ensuring that open manholes must never be unattended.
- Be a spotter for backing vehicles.
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriate to your job.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Perform miscellaneous work-related duties and carry out special projects as assigned.
Required Skills / Abilities
- Must have current DOT physical or be able to obtain before first day of employment, and be able to maintain it.
- Must have a clean driving record, valid driver’s license, and ability to be insured. Satisfactory results from Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check are required.
- Must be able to get security clearance to work on jobsites such as restricted airport areas, prisons, military bases, etc.
- Must be able to drive box trucks and other vehicles.
- Ability to pass drug screening and DOT physical.
- Must be able to pass OSHA and in-house safety training programs.
- Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade (use of hand tools and operation of generators and equipment).
- Must be punctual and adhere to hours of work and maintain an efficient work schedule in all types of weather with the ability to work overtime, nights, and weekends.
- Ability to work as a team while staying on task.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds, reaching and lifting overhead, standing, crawling, climbing, bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling.
- This position involves exposure to loud noise, odors, dust, heat, cold, and vibration. You may have to tolerate temperature fluctuations and work in various weather conditions.
Education / Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
No previous experience is required, just the ability to learn and work as a team. - A Valid Driver’s License is required.
R&R Visual utilizes Class B CDL required vehicles to conduct sanitary and storm line cleaning, though it is NOT a requirement for applicants to have a Class B CDL, those that do are eligible to earn more per hour.
